Most LED masks are sold on a number the seller has never checked.

A factory quotes a wavelength — 630 nanometres, 850 nanometres — and that number goes on the box, into the advertising, and onto the product page. Almost nobody measures what the finished device actually emits at the distance it sits from your face. When independent testing has been done in this category, the gap between the advertised figure and the measured one has been large enough to become the subject of litigation.

We started from the opposite end. The wavelength is the easy part; the variable that decides whether a device does anything at all is dose — intensity multiplied by time. So we publish the measured output of every mode: peak wavelength, irradiance in milliwatts per square centimetre at skin distance, and total dose in joules per ten-minute session. Taken with a spectroradiometer, not copied from a specification sheet.

That is a fact about the hardware, not a promise about your face. We think the distinction matters, and it is why you will not find before-and-after photographs here, or a claim that this device treats anything. Light therapy is a slow, cumulative, modest thing. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling harder than the evidence allows.

What we will not do

No countdown timers that reset when you reload the page. No review counts that do not match the reviews. No struck-through price that was never real. Every number on this site should reconcile with every other number on this site — and if you ever find one that does not, tell us and we will fix it.
