The Agathe is an oversized jacket in a pebble-grained black with a high shine: a tall stand collar that folds back into one wide lapel, a zip set behind a front flap, and an elasticated hem that pulls the volume in.
The collar is the point of it. Buttoned up it stands right at the throat; left open, it falls back into a single wide lapel that spreads across the shoulder, so this is a fold-back lapel rather than a tailored pair. The face is coated and non-porous with a pronounced pebble grain, which is where the shine and the body come from. Epaulettes at the shoulder, welt pockets at the hip, a generous sleeve, and a hem that gathers the whole thing in. It falls at the hip.
Key features
- Pebble-grained coated surface — a non-porous face with a pronounced grain and a strong shine.
- Stand collar with a fold-back lapel — button it high at the throat or let it drop open into one wide lapel.
- Concealed zip front — the zip runs behind a wide flap, so the closed front stays clean.
- Elasticated hem — gathers the oversized body in at the bottom.
- Welt pockets and epaulettes — slit pockets at the hip, buttoned tabs at the shoulder.

FAQ
How does it fasten?
With a zip that runs behind a wide front flap. Self-covered buttons hold the collar closed at the throat.
Is it a stand collar or a lapel?
Both, depending on how you wear it. It stands up and buttons at the neck, and it folds back into one wide lapel when left open.
What is the hem like?
Elasticated, so it draws in at the bottom and the body blouses above it.
What is the surface like?
Coated and non-porous, with a pronounced pebble grain and a strong shine. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth rather than machine washing it.

we love fashion
We buy dresses, knitwear, jackets and matching sets as one wardrobe rather than six separate categories. That's why the things you order months apart still go together.
