Anouk Printed Satin Shirt & Palazzo Trouser Set

The Anouk is a two-piece set: a printed satin shirt and matching palazzo trousers, cut from the same cream satin and covered in a large-scale surrealist illustration. Painterly passionflowers, lilies, tulips, roses and daisies grow among banded snakes, illustrated hands, yin-yang symbols, a golden urn pouring a rainbow, a crescent moon and a radiating sun.

The print is placed like an engineered scarf rather than repeated as a small floral. The hero motif, a figure riding a leaping leopard, sits on the back of the shirt and on the right trouser leg, and a narrow snake-and-leaf vine border runs down the shirt placket, along the sleeve hems, down both trouser side seams and around the waistband. The shirt is boxy with a pointed collar on a stand and elbow-length dolman sleeves. The trousers are high rise and wide leg, falling to a plain uncuffed hem.

How many pieces come with this set?
Two. A printed satin shirt and matching palazzo trousers. There is no third layer and no camisole underneath the shirt.

How does the shirt fasten?
With a concealed button placket. The buttons sit behind the front edge, so the printed vine border runs uninterrupted down the center front.

Do the trousers have a zip or pockets?
No. The waistband is fully elasticized and shirred with a self-fabric drawstring tied at the front, and there are no visible pockets.

Is the print really this bold?
Yes. It is a large-scale hand-illustrated placement print, closer to a scarf than to a ditsy floral, and it runs at true scale across both pieces.
