Carine Layered Shoulder Cutout Knit Top

The Carine layered shoulder cutout knit top is a fitted, waist-length knit with a wide scoop neck and a crescent-shaped opening at each shoulder. It comes in Black, Brown and Gray.

The knit is fine, flat and smooth with a faint heather, and ribbed trim is kept to the neckband, the cuffs and the hem. The scoop is cut low and wide and finished with a ribbed band. Above it, the fabric passes over the top of each shoulder and then breaks into an open crescent, so bare skin and the strap of the layer beneath sit in the gap. Both shoulders are cut the same way. Sleeves are long, set in and fitted, with narrow ribbed cuffs, and the straight ribbed hem band meets the waistband of a jean. In every photograph a white ribbed crew-neck tank sits underneath, which is what gives the neckline its layered line.

FAQ

Is the white tank underneath included?
The white ribbed tank is shown as styled. If you want the exact look in the photographs, plan on wearing your own white ribbed crew-neck tank underneath. The knit top itself is what is described and priced on this page.

Will my bra straps show through the shoulder openings?
Most likely yes. The cutouts sit directly over the line a bra strap runs along, so a standard strap will be visible in the gap. A strapless or adhesive bra, clear straps, or a tank with wider straps worn underneath all solve it.

Is the knit see-through?
No. The knit is opaque in all three colorways. The only skin on show is at the two shoulder openings.

How should I care for it?
Hand wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry flat. Iron at 110C maximum. Do not dry clean.
