Fernande Sequin Bow-Front Cropped Jacket

The Fernande sequin bow-front cropped jacket fastens with two ribbon bows and nothing else. It does not close: the front edges hang apart between the two bows and again from the lower bow down to the hem, so skin shows in both gaps unless you wear something underneath.

Flat disc sequins cover the whole jacket, front, back and sleeves, right out to the cuffs and the hem. The cut is straight and skimming with a soft, faintly extended shoulder, no darts and no waist seam, and it ends at or just above the natural waist, so a band of midriff shows above a high skirt or trouser. The bows sit at the collarbone and at the bust, tied on edge to edge fronts with no overlap. Choose Cream, Black, or Black and Silver.

FAQ

Does it close all the way?
No. The two bows are the only fastening, and the jacket is permanently part open. The edges stay apart between the bows and from the lower bow to the hem.

What do I wear underneath?
Plan on a top. A tank, a bodysuit, a fitted knit or a slip dress all work. Worn on its own, the chest and midriff are bare.

How cropped is it?
It ends at or just above the natural waist. Over a high-waisted skirt or trouser you will see a strip of midriff between the hem and the waistband.

Does it have pockets?
No. There are no pockets and no fake flaps anywhere on the jacket.
