Jehanne Boat-Neck Sweater & Flared Midi Skirt Set

The Jehanne is a two-piece set: an oversized boat-neck sweater and a matching flared midi skirt, offered in cream and in espresso. Narrow rolled, raw-look edges run along the neckline, the cuffs and both hems, and that unfinished edge is the detail the whole set is built around.

The sweater pulls on over the head. There is no placket, no buttons and no zip, and the body is cut deliberately oversized with a dropped, sloping shoulder. The boat neck is collarless and cut wide enough to slip off one shoulder. Sleeves run long past the wrist and widen into a flared bell cuff with a visibly frayed, unfinished edge. The skirt sits high on the waist and stays close through the waist and hip, then flares from mid-thigh into a wide fluted sweep that falls to the lower calf, with a gently uneven dipping hem. The two knits coordinate rather than match exactly: the sweater is a lighter-gauge brushed knit with a soft halo, while the skirt is denser, smoother and flatter on the surface.

FAQ

How many pieces are included?
Two. One oversized boat-neck sweater and one flared midi skirt, supplied together in a single color. The suede ankle boots and gold hoop earrings shown are styling props and are not included.

How does the skirt fall?
It is close through the waist and hip, then flares from mid-thigh into a wide, fluted A-line sweep with a soft draping movement and a gently uneven dipping hem. It is a midi length that sits at the lower calf, not a floor-length skirt, and it has no slit, vent or pockets.

Does either piece have a zip or buttons?
No. No fastening is visible on either piece. The sweater has an unbroken front and back panel and goes on over the head, and the skirt closes with no zip, buttons or drawstring.

Are the unfinished edges a defect?
No. The narrow rolled, curling raw edges at the neckline, cuffs, sweater hem and skirt hem are the intended finish, and the sweater hem is deliberately asymmetric, dipping at the front and rising at the back.
