Justine Tailored Blazer & Pleated Midi Skirt Set

Justine is a two-piece set: a tailored blazer and a matching pleated midi skirt, both cut from the same brushed woven polyester in a marled mid-gray. The two pieces ship together and are made to be worn as one outfit, though each works on its own with the rest of a workwear wardrobe.

The blazer has a notched lapel that breaks low into a deep V at about the natural waist, with a short stand collar behind the neck. It is shaped closely through the body with princess seams and inverted tucks at the waist, front and back, and finishes with a straight hip-length hem and a short center-front vent. Sleeves are plain and full length, with no cuff vents or cuff buttons. There are welt pockets at the chest on both sides and curved vertical welt pockets at the hip, and a pale gray satin lining shows inside the open front. The skirt sits on a wide flat waistband, then falls into inverted box pleats that are stitched down flat for a short distance before releasing into a full A-line sweep at midi length. The fabric has a dense, soft nap and enough weight to feel warm.

FAQ

How does the blazer fasten?
With one concealed metal snap, hand sewn just below the lapel break. There are no buttons anywhere on the blazer, and no zip or tie.

Does the skirt have a zip or elastic waist?
No closure is visible, front or back. There are narrow slits at the hip on both sides, which suggest either side-seam pockets or a concealed side opening.

What is the fabric?
A brushed, soft-napped woven polyester. It is not wool, and there is no check, herringbone or contrast trim anywhere on either piece. The gray marl is spun into the yarn rather than printed.

Are both pieces included?
