Myriam Collared Knit Mini Dress

The Myriam is a collared knit mini dress in cream with navy contrast trim. A notched lapel collar sits over an open V, a row of gold-tone buttons runs down the center front, and a ribbed waistband pulls the shape in at the natural waist.

It is a two-tone dress, and worth knowing that before it arrives. The body is a solid cream grid-textured knit and every edge is tipped in navy: piping along the whole collar and lapel, a navy line above and below the waistband, a single navy stripe at each cuff and a double navy band at the hem. The knit is rib-based and stretches, so it follows the bust and hip, draws in at the waist, then flares gently to a mid-thigh hem. This is a short mini, not a modest above-the-knee length. Wear it with tall boots and opaque tights, or bare legs and a flat.

Frequently asked questions

What are the gold buttons down the front?
A single row of gold-tone metal buttons, roughly seven of them, running from the V opening to the hem on a narrow cream band edged with navy piping. Each carries a small embossed crest, and the same button is used in the four welt trims. Message us before ordering if the closure matters to you and we will confirm it.

Are the four welt trims pockets?
No. There are two at chest level and two at hip level, and each is simply two navy bands with a gold button set between them. They lie flat against the knit with no opening and no depth, so they are decorative only. This dress has no usable pockets.

How short is it?
Short. The hem sits mid-thigh on the model, with a clear stretch of bare leg above the knee, so it wears as a true mini. There is no slit at the front, side or back. The hem band is continuous the whole way round.

Is it see-through, and what bra works under it?
It is fully opaque, front and back. The shoulders are covered, the sleeves are set in and the back is closed, so a normal bra is fine. The V opening reaches mid-bust, so a lower-cut or plunge style keeps the center gore out of sight.
