Ombeline Belted Knit Jacket & Wide-Leg Trouser Set

The Ombeline is a two-piece set of two knitted pieces: a belted knit jacket and matching wide-leg trousers. The slim leather belt is included with the set. Both garments are worked in a soft sand knit, a pale oatmeal beige with a faint warm-gray cast, in a fine flat stockinette with a lightly brushed surface.

Be clear on what the jacket is. It is a soft, unstructured knit wrap, closer to a long-line cardigan than to a tailored blazer. There is no shoulder padding and no built-up lapel structure, so it drapes instead of holding a sharp line. An oversized portrait collar folds back into wide notched points over a deep V wrap, and the collar facing is worked in a denser textured stitch knitted straight into the piece. The wrapped front panel falls lower on one side into a pointed asymmetric hem, while the back hem stays level and slightly A-line. The trousers run wide and straight from the hip, with no taper and no flare.

Yes. The slim dark brown leather belt ships with the set. It is a separate accessory rather than a knitted tie, and the jacket has no belt loops, so you can wear it at the waist as shown or leave it off entirely.
