Constance Asymmetric-Slit Maxi Dress

A black and white maxi dress built on one long diagonal: the Constance runs a fitted black strapless bodice into a gathered white skirt, with the seam cutting across the hip rather than sitting at the waist.

The skirt is cut full and falls to the floor, split by a high front slit that opens as you walk. A separate black band fastens at the neck and ties at the back, leaving long tails down the spine. It comes off if you would rather wear it plain.
