A wool cardigan in a soft, dusty taupe, cut close and cropped just below the waist. The V-neck runs deep enough to show a shirt collar, and dark four-hole buttons break up the marled knit.
Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem hold the shape. It is the plain cardigan you end up reaching for more than anything else you own.
