Edmee Buckle Collar Oversized Jacket

The Edmee buckle collar oversized jacket is cropped to the high hip, with a collar that stands to the throat when it is buttoned and folds into wide pointed lapels when it is open.

A boxy jacket with a deeply dropped shoulder, in two colorways: Maroon, a deep wine brown, and Cream, which is a warm ecru rather than a bright white. Three large buttons close the single-breasted front. A self-fabric strap carrying a metal pin buckle sits across the collar, over the top button. The hem is elasticated at the back and sides so the body blouses out over it, while the two front corners hang free and longer. There is one flap pocket high on the chest and no hand pockets. It is cut short enough to wear over wide-leg jeans and a tee. The tee shown is not included.

FAQ

Is the Cream one white?
No. It is a warm ecru. Photographed beside a pure white tee it reads clearly warmer and softer, nearer a light sand than a true white, which is why we list it as Cream.

Does the buckle fasten the jacket?
No. Three buttons close the front. The strap has no visible adjustment holes and the buckle sits over the top button, so treat it as a collar detail. The collar itself does stand fully to the throat once those buttons are done up.

Are there pockets for your hands?
No. There is one flap pocket high on the chest and nothing at the hip. The lower fronts are smooth, with no opening, flap, or welt.

How short is it?
High hip, so it reads cropped and boxy. The gathered elastic back hem is the shortest point and the pointed front corners hang lowest.
