Ghislaine Two-Tone Ribbed Crew Neck Sweater

The Ghislaine two-tone ribbed crew neck sweater does its two tones in one color. Every band is gray: pale silver-gray rib cords sitting over a darker charcoal ground, so the structure reads as texture and not as contrast panels.

A fine vertical stripe is knitted into the rib across the whole piece. The horizontal banding at the yoke, bust and lower body is a change of rib gauge, not a change of color, so nothing on this sweater blocks out in a second shade. FAQ

Is this a color-block sweater?
No. There is real horizontal block structure, but every block is gray. The blocks are made by changing the rib gauge, not by joining panels in different colors, so you will not receive a sweater with contrast sections.

How long are the sleeves?
Longer than standard. They run past the wrist and cover the base of the hand, and the rib widens into a small bell over the hand. That is the intended length, not a sizing error.

Can I tuck it in?
Not really. The hem stops at the top of the waistband, so it is cut to be worn out over a high-rise bottom.

Is it see-through?
It is not sheer, but it is thin and close-fitting, so a bra outline can be faintly read through the knit. A seamless bra keeps the surface smooth.
