How do I get into it if the buttons do not undo?
You pull it on over your head. The placket is sewn shut, the buttons are ornaments with no buttonholes behind them, and there is no zip anywhere on the dress. The ribbed neckline and collar stretch to let it on, then settle back.

How long is it?
Mid-calf. The hem sits a good hand's width above the ankle bone, level with the top of a knee-high boot shaft on the model.

Is it see-through?
No. It is opaque in a single layer and unlined, front and back. Because the rib is fine and sits close, a smooth seamless bra keeps band and strap lines from reading through.

Can I walk in it without a slit?
Yes. The skirt is pencil-shaped and unbroken to the hem, and the rib stretches with each step to give stride room. It is a shorter stride than a slit would allow, so it suits a flat or a block heel as happily as a stiletto.
