No. Every petal and disc is a separate piece of fabric, cut and stitched onto an open net ground, then layered into rosettes that stand about a fingertip proud of the surface. You can lift the loose edges. It is not a print and it is not a woven jacquard.

How does it close?
One small button at the neck, and nothing below it. There is no zip, no second button and no button-through front, so the jacket hangs open over whatever you wear underneath. It has no pockets either.

Is it see-through, and is it warm?
The base fabric is an open net and light does pass through it between the rosettes. The petals sit dense enough that the body reads opaque when worn, but the front edges and gaps stay airy. It is unlined, so treat it as a decorative layer over a top rather than a warm coat.

How do I care for the petals?
